Seasons

Seasons are the different times of the year that have distinct weather patterns and characteristics. There are four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

1. Spring:

  • In spring, the weather gets warmer, and flowers start to bloom. Trees grow new leaves.
  • You might see colorful flowers like tulips and daisies.

2. Summer:

  • Summer is the hottest season of the year. It comes after spring and starts in June.
  • The sun shines a lot, and the days are longer. People often go to the beach and have picnics.
  • You can wear light clothes like shorts and t-shirts.

3. Autumn:

  • Autumn comes after summer and begins in September.
  • The weather becomes cooler, and leaves on trees change color and fall to the ground.
  • People often harvest crops like pumpkins and apples in the fall.

4. Winter:

  • Winter follows autumn and starts in December.
  • It’s the coldest season, and it might snow in some places. Days are shorter, and nights are longer.
  • People often wear warm clothes like coats, scarves, and gloves.
