​​Privacy and personal data collection

We do not disclose personal information to third parties without the person’s acceptance, unless required or permitted by law.

We may be required by law to disclose some personal information to Australian government organisations and to the Fund Manager of the ESOS Assurance Fund.

We are required by law to inform the Department of Immigration if an international student visa holder:

  • changes the course of study for which he or she is enrolled into
  • changes the duration of he or she course of study
  • breaches a student visa condition such as attendance or satisfactory academic performance

It may be necessary for the college to provide personal information to others, for example professional advisers (auditors, lawyers), insurers, and printers.

The college collects information to:

  • process applications for enrolment
  • keep appropriate academic and financial records
  • keep contact with past students
  • provide information required by the government

We do not collect sensitive information if we don’t have the permission to do so, or unless we are required or permitted to do so by law.
